UNFPA Albania will implement a new project “Reduce Gender-based Violence and harmful practices through Gender Responsive Governance” funded by AICS. The project aims to ensure that Albanian institutions more consistently apply gender responsive governance to strengthen equality and non-discrimination, promote women’s empowerment and human rights in line with the EU Gender Equality acquis, CEDAW and Istanbul Convention.
For this purpose, UNFPA plans to recruit a Project Coordinator who will be responsible for ensuring timely and quality day to day implementation of the project, work planning, engagement of relevant technical expertise and responsible parties, monitoring and reporting. The Project Coordinator will be under direct supervision and reporting to Programme Analyst for Population Development and Gender and in close cooperation with UNFPA team.

The Project Coordinator will be under direct supervision of Gender and PD Analyst and will work closely with all UNFPA staff involved in the project implementation.
