UNFPA Albania Country Office is planning to organize a series of public debates on a national TV station, which would include experts, demographers, government officials, and other stakeholders. The request will aim the proposal to develop and broadcast a series of analysis and television talk shows on demographic trends and demographic resilience in Albania.

UNFPA and UNDP Albania require the services of a legal entity to prepare a “Proposal to develop and implement an awareness-raising campaign in Albania aiming to engage youth in countering hate speech, divisive narratives and rhetoric, traditional gender norms and toxic masculinity, and in promoting trust, inclusion, and equality.” The purpose of this is to support the development of non-formal education programmes to promote constructive inter-group narratives and discuss the impact of gender equality on social cohesion in the public domain, in collaboration with youth, women, teachers, cultural actors, regional public actors, and minorities NGOs, and in partnership with academic institutions and in consultation with public institutions.

EXTENDED Deadline - REQUEST FOR QUOTATION RFQ Nº UNFPA/ALB/RFQ/2022/020 - “Prepare and support implementation of a public awareness campaign in Albania on gender-biased sex selection
UNFPA requires the services to prepare and support the implementation of a public awareness campaign in Albania on gender-biased sex selection. The purpose of this campaign is to address gender-bias sex selection, as one of the harmful practices of gender-based violence in Albania. This Request for Quotation is open to all legally-constituted providers that can provide the requested services and have legal capacity to perform in the country, or through an authorized representative as specified in the Terms of Reference, Annex II. Quotations should be submitted in a single email whenever possible, depending on file size. Quotations must contain: a. Technical proposal, in response to the requirements outlined in the service requirements / TORs (Annex II). b. Price quotation, to be submitted strictly in accordance with the price quotation form (Annex I). Both parts of the quotation must be signed by the bidding company’s relevant authority and submitted in PDF format. The following reference must be included in the email subject line: RFQ Nº UNFPA/ALB/RFQ/2022/020, “Prepare and support the implementation of a public awareness campaign in Albania on gender-bias sex selection”. The total email size may not exceed 20 MB (including email body, encoded attachments and headers). Proposals should be prepared based on the guidelines set forth in Section III of the RfQ document (see linked pdf document above "final RfQ 020"), along with a properly filled out and signed price quotation form (see linked document above "Annex I-price-quotation-final_rfq.020"), and are to be sent by email to the address indicated below no later than 9th of November, 2022 at 05:00 pm hrs: procurement.alb@unfpa.org
